



Eighteenth Reunion

The 18th Annual Burgin & Lytle Reunion was held at Bethel Methodist Church Sun. July 18th 1948.
The Meeting was called to order by President Alvis Lytle.

Two Song's by Mt. City quartet
A Talk was enjoyed by all from Mr. J. W. Burgin from Missouri.
Had a Piano Solo - from Bill Simpson
Short Talk by Pastor Rev. J. R. Bowman.
Song's - - - by Mt. City quartet.
12:00 Adjournment for Lunch, A Lunch served Picnic style was enjoyed by all.
Congregation Sang - Sweet Bye & Bye.
The oldest Lady present Mrs. Mary Burgin Marion 89 yr. Made short Talk.
Solo - by Howell Burgin.
Piano and violin Duet by Shirley Lytle & Louise Bailey.

Business Meeting was held and steps were taken to construct two Tolets (sic) built by next Reunion Coll was taken for same.
It was moved & Seconded that Alvis Lytle be kept for president. It was voted that all officers be retained for another year.
It was suggested that a Lytle & Burgin get togeather (sic) a history for the generation to come.
