The Twenty Sixth Burgin & Lytle Reunion held at Bethel Methodist Church Sunday July 15th 1956.

The Meeting was called by vice pres. Alvis Lytle.

Congregation Sang "Come Thou Fount"

Invocation was given by Ray Burgin of Black Mtn., N. C.

Welcome address was given by Rev. A. Lealon Lytle in absentance (sic) of (Miss) Judy Burgin.

Special Music was given by ruby quartet from Gastonia, N. C.

A Solo by Betty Case

A short talk was given by Rev. A. Lealan Lytle,

"Fellowship One with Another" Song by Congregation

Memorial Service was given by Mrs. Cassie B. Bailey & Daughter Mrs. Haney

Adjourned for Lunch which was served on the Lawn and enjoyed by all.

Meeting was called at 1 p.m.           

Several Songs were sung at this time by quartets.

Coll. was taken at this time for expense $31.35.

 

Business Meeting was held at this time. Minutes was read of last Meeting, officers were elected for coming year,

The Ruby quartet gave several numbers at this time.

The Children sang, "Let the Sun shine In".
