



Twenty-Fifth Reunion
The Twenty-Fifth Burgin & Lytle Reunion was held at Bethel Methodist Church Sunday July 17th 1955. The Meeting was called by the president.
Song by the Cong - "Come Thou Fount & Higher Ground".
Invocation was given by Miss Hattie B. Walker.
Welcome address was given by Mrs. Irene Plonk
A Short talk was given by pastor Rev. L. W. Hall his subject Who's Builder and Maker is of God.
The gospel Five from Marion sang 2 numbers also the Melody Trio from Cherry Springs Church sang 2 numbers.
A former pastor Rev. A. Lealan Lytle gave us a brief talk on the Impression left upon the (individual?).
At this time Mrs. Cassie Bailey & daughter rendered a Memorial Service honoring those that had passed away since we last met. Collection was taken for expenses.
Cong. sang, Blessed Assurance and adjourned for Lunch.

A bountiful lunch was served on lawn and enjoyed by all.
Good singing was enjoyed by all and rendered by, Gospel Five, Alred Family, Howell Burgin.

Business Meeting was in order at this time.

It was voted by cong. to spend money in Treasure on water for church & cemetery and to defray expense of Reunion.
The Burgin Family gave several numbers in Song at this time.
