



Nineteenth Reunion
The Nineteenth (sic) Annual Burgin & Lytle Reunion was held at Bethel Methodist Church Sunday July 1 7th 1949.
The Meeting was called to order by President Alvis Lytle

song by Congregation: "Faith of Our Fathers"
Invocation - Mr. A C. Reynolds
The Address of Welcome was given by Ray Burgin.
Two Songs were rendered by Gospel 5 quartet.
The Burgin History was by Mr. J. W. Burgin in from Missouri.
Short Talk - by Pastor Rev. J. R. Bowman
The Ruby quartet from Gastonia, N. C. gave several Songs.
A short talk was enjoyed by all from Lealan Lytle.
A Song by Congregation and was adjourned from lunch, A lunch was served picnic style and enjoyed by all.
After lunch the Congregation met back in Church and Sang, "Where the Gates Swing Outward Never"
A short program was given by the W. H. Burgin Family
Out of County Visitor's were Recognized at the time
Mr. E. C. Ross 81 yrs old from Hendersonville, N. C. was oldest present
Two Solo's were given at the time are by Howell Burgin, the other by Mrs. Ford. Short

business session was held and all officers were retained for another year.
