Twenty-first Reunion

The Twenty-First Burgin & Lytle reunion was held at Bethel Methodist Church Sunday July 15th 1951.

The Meeting was called to order by the president Ray Burgin.

2 Songs -                                    by Mountain Home Trio & quartett (sic)

A Short talk was enjoyed by all from the pastor Rev. Lealan Lytle his subject "Old Friends to be Cherished"

Several Songs were rendered at this time by Padgett Trio, Mountain Home Trio,

Wilson Duet, Swanannoa Jubilee, Rainbow quartet, Joy quartet, Sun Light Trio, Gospel 5

A Coll was taken for the Church which was $24.71.

Adjournment for Lunch at 12:30

A Picnic Lunch was spread on the Lawn and enjoyed by all despite the rain. Met back in Church at 1 :30 the Congregation Sang "When the Roll is Called up yonder I'll be There."

The business meeting was held at this time. Rev. Lealan Lytle was voted in as president, Dewey Burgin vice president, Glenn Bradley Sec. & Treasure.

A Collection for expenses was taken at this time which was $26.17. It was voted on to get garbage cans by next reunion. The Burgin & Lytle reunion was closed at this time and every one enjoyed the fine Singing that was held by the 3rd Sunday Singers until 4 0'clock and adjournment. We were dismissed by Rev. Franklin Justice.
